  • Experience in both research (NSERC, DOE) and applied projects (e.g. mining industry)
  • Technical background in aqueous geochemistry and soil chemistry
  • Expertise in biogeochemistry applied to soil and water remediation technologies
  • Experience and expertise gained in a diverse range of projects involving:
    • Rock weathering and water quality prediction using geochemical models
    • Water treatment using chemical mobility and microbial geochemistry
    • Hydrology and chemistry of the vadose zone
    • Biogeochemical cycling of nutrients and contaminants (e.g. in lakes, wetlands)
  • Technical background in analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis (academia)
