  • Strong background in mathematics and physics along with a wide diversity of computer science skills
  • Expertise in 2D and 3D visualization of numerical model output and photo realistic depictions of post closure mine facilities
  • Involved in the development, maintenance and application of 3D hydrodynamic numerical model (C3)
  • Physical and geochemical pit lake modelling
  • Wind wave and ship wake modeling
  • Extensive experience in applications development including:
    • Database management and GUI development
    • Visualization GUI for numerical model output
    • Java based web application for use in the aquaculture industry
    • Oil and chemical spill trajectory and fate model (SPILLSIM)
    • Search and rescue tool for the Canadian coast guard (CANSARP)

  • Software engineering including concept design, code development, and end-user support.
